Estate Tour & Tasting
Balfour Winery at the Hush Heath Estate

A 1 hour tour experience with our knowledgeable tour guide, explaining our precious eco system and how we’ve intertwined our vineyards and winemaking to create this stunning Estate. Concluded with a tutored tasting of 3 carefully chosen wines.
Private Tour

Join one of our open tours which take place on Saturdays from April to September. The perfect introduction to Biddenden Vineyards and our wines, ciders and juices. Arrive at 10.15am for a complimentary cup of tea, coffee or juice in the vineyard shop. The tour will begin at 10.30am and last approximately 1 hour. Your guide will take the group around the vines, into the winery and then back into the vineyard shop for tastings. Pre-booking is essential as places are limited.
The Chapel Down Guided Tour

Join us for a visit to the Chapel Down vineyards and winery where your experienced guide will take you on a journey from grape to glass, followed by a tutored tasting of our award-winning range of sparkling and still wines.
Each tour takes approximately 1hr 45mins, £25 per person.
The Vineyard Tour

A two-hour hosted tour in which you’ll find out what makes our corner of England so special for winemaking. Enjoy a guided walk in the vines, a tour of the winery and a tutored wine tasting in our tasting room. Guests are welcome to stay and enjoy our generous hospitality when the tour is over.

This early evening experience begins with a leisurely stroll to our Roman Road Vineyard, where you will learn about the growing cycle of the vines and enjoy a glass of the Chalklands Classic Cuvée as the sun begins to set. Returning to our state-of-the-art winery, you will then hear about the fascinating wine-making process from the comfortable vantage point of The Glass House Tasting Room, sampling a selection of our award-winning wines paired with Kentish canapés supplied by one of our local partners. The visit ends of course with an exhilarating ride down our ‘Fruit Chute’ helter-skelter slide!

At the UK Electric Bike Centre we offer our customers the unique opportunity to travel between vineyards on an electric bike. Our award winning tours and self-guided tours are a fun and easy way to travel. See the Kent countryside, as you take the quiet back lanes between several vineyards. Try award winning wines in beautiful surroundings and view oast houses, medieval hall houses in pretty villages as well as passing Sissinghurst Castle and gardens. All our bikes are easy to ride and come with helmets, locks, panniers and easy to read route maps.

Visiting the Wine Garden of England couldn’t be easier by train. Not only can you sample and enjoy the wine tastings, you can relax and enjoy the Kent countryside as you travel.
Southeastern operates the train service between London and Kent, running frequent trains to the stations across the Wine Garden of England, including the UK’s first domestic high speed service from St Pancras International.
